Steven "Stevie" McDonnell (Irish: Stíofán Mac Dónaill; born 13 July 1979) is an Gaelic football player for Armagh.

Playing career

Steven is the current right corner forward on the Armagh senior football panel. He most recent successes include his sides 2006, Ulster senior football championship winning medal for his part in Armagh's easily won victory over rivals Donegal. The highlight of his career to date is his teams All-Ireland winning victory over Kerry by a scoreline of 1-12 to 0-14 in the 2002 All-Ireland senior football final in Croke Park. He also received an All-Star for his performances that year. In 2010 he captained Armagh to a National Football League Div 2 title after beating Down in the final in Croke Park. In 2010 he was also named captain of the Ireland International rules team.
